My friends, it looks like McCain has it clinched:
John McCain has clinched the Republican presidential nomination. The Associated Press count of delegates showed McCain surpassing the requisite 1,191 needed to win the party’s nod. The victory was redemption for the four-term Arizona senator. He sought the nomination in 2000 but lost to George W. Bush.
I think now is a good time to replay this video in case you missed it:
I just can’t see McCain’s platform of more wars and fewer jobs resonating well with the American people.
But then, I could never understand why anyone would ever vote for Bush.
